Herron High School, a member of Indianapolis Classical Schools, was awarded a grant from The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund through Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) to establish a library. This grant funds a partnership with the Indianapolis Public Library (IPL), which will provide library cards to all students, staff, and faculty, allowing them to borrow materials through the IPL Shared System. The Shared System is an extension of the Library’s rotating collection, which provides access to all physical and online resources and the delivery of those resources directly to the school.

Additionally, this grant marks the beginning of a full-fledged Media Center for Herron High School, combining the school’s Student Help Desk and newly formed Library, which will continue to grow and expand. Students and faculty will receive training on Library resources and continuous assistance for student and faculty research. Herron High School is grateful for this generous gift!
