Summer Academy combines Indianapolis Classical Schools’ Core Values and the Harrison Center’s Global Vision for the Arts to create a unique learning experience for your student’s academic and artistic goals during the summer.
The 2020 Summer Academy courses will be offered online only.
Summer Academy classes are taught by Indianapolis Classical Schools teachers and affiliates.
Summer Academy courses meet Indiana State Standards.
Summer Academy begins at 10 a.m. each day.
Summer Academy attendance is required for incoming 9th graders who need academic remediation, as identified by their academic record and placement testing results. Families will be notified if their student is required to attend Summer Academy. Registration is still required using the form below.
Summer Academy attendance is also required for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who fail a core subject course during the academic year. Current Herron High School students or incoming transfers in need of remediation should enroll through the guidance department at email@example.com.
Summer Academy Dates
Dates for 2020 Summer Academy sessions are as follows:
Session 1 – Wednesday, June 10 to Friday, June 26
Session 2 – Wednesday, July 15 to Friday, July 31
Students will have a live virtual session with teachers at 10 a.m. and will have 3-5 hours of work daily.
