Herron High School has high expectations for our students and multiple structures in place to help them meet those expectations.
Whether helping students monitor their academic progress in Advisory or giving parents easy access to PowerSchool data, students, teachers and parents have resources to identify when extra support is needed.
All Herron High School students are assigned an academic advisor. The advisor will assist students in developing a four-year academic plan and choosing appropriate courses as well as advising them on daily academic issues that arise.
All Herron High School students are assigned a school counselor. Herron High School’s school counselors provide a comprehensive counseling program that supports students personal/social needs, college/career plans, and academic growth and prepares them for a future life of leadership and service.
At HHS, our Special Education Team’s mission is to provide support services for scholars who have been identified as having one or more of the disabilities referenced in state and federal law per their Individual Education Programs. We are committed to providing scholars with tools and strategies that will equip them for success in high school and beyond.
