Herron High School offers extensive extracurricular clubs and activities to encourage its scholars to pursue their personal interests and to grow into engaged citizens. Students can choose to join one of more than 40 student clubs or to participate on one of 11 athletics teams. All clubs are student-led and are sponsored by a Herron High School faculty member.
Herron High School’s athletics program is recognized by the IHSAA and its varsity teams are eligible to compete in postseason tournaments. Varsity athletics teams include baseball, boys and girls basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, boys and girls soccer, softball, swimming, track & field, and volleyball. Other non-varsity sports, including rowing, are recognized and compete as clubs.
